Our Mission
At CYBHER the collective, we are dedicated to forging a future where women and children are free from online gender-based violence (OGBV). As the founders of the #Predatorgram movement, we sparked a wave of change against the V2K Telegram issue and similarly violent groups. Our mission is to establish a secure online environment by:
- Preventing the spread of non-consensual intimate images (NCII) and harmful media.
- Redirecting survivors to connect with support networks such as mental health professionals and legal aid.
- Empowering women with the tools and knowledge to protect themselves in digital spaces.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every woman can navigate an online space where
- there is no fear of violence
- their rights and safety are respected
- autonomy is upheld
- it is filled with positive interactions
Our Approach
CYBHER MALAYSIA adopts a two-pronged mobilisation strategy to combat OGBV:
- Reporting Platform : We provide a streamlined process for victims of NCII to report incidents to the authorities swiftly and securely.
- Emotional Support Facilitation: We offer a supportive network for emotional recovery, connecting survivors with mental health professionals and feminist organisations.
